[WSBARP] Residential Eviction Post Tax Sale (RCW 84.64) Using RCW 59.04.050?

Rob, I tried to fit the square peg of ejectment into the round hole of evictions and just couldn’t make it work.  After much research and posting on this listserv, I had to finally bring a Complaint for Ejectment under RCW 7.28 (See RCW 7.28.010 provides in part:  “Any person having a valid subsisting interest in real property, and a right to the possession thereof may recover the same by action in the superior court of the proper county, to be brought against the tenant in possession….”) Paul Neumiller

What statute does one typically cite when representing a successful residential property purchaser at a Treasurer’s Tax Sale (RCW 84.64) for purposes of evicting the prior owner’s tenants? 

 

RCW 59.04.050? Was looking at the holding in the Sarvis v Land Resources, 62 Wn.App. 888 (1991).
