I seem to do a lot of these, would be happy to help. The issue will be whether you have to publish. If you have a cooperative title insurer, you might be able talk the title company into not requiring it.

Subject: [WSBARP] Referral needed for quiet title action in Spokane

House and land purchased on a contract for deed. Contract completed and deed provided by grantor 25+ years ago. Deed not recorded, now lost; original grantor is deceased, heirs unknown. Grantee has been paying the property tax for all this time. Property is located in unincorporated Spokane County. Grantee has lived on the property for so long, the County has named the road after him. *Should* be an easy clean up.

For those with excellent memories, I sent this request around about 5 years ago. But then there were some health issues in the family and he didn't end up pursuing.

Thanks,
Jamie.
