[WSBARP] dot against Highlands property

Any tips or warnings about taking a Deed of Trust against a residence in the Highlands?  Seems like an unusual metes and bounds legal description based on an 'unrecorded plat'; the deed to the property long ago was to a Highlands condo or hoa association.
