[wsbarp] Housing discimination issue

I recently got a call from a local bank who is trying to grant a
Make-a-Wish to a paralyzed veteran.  The wish was for a ramp but there’s
not enough space so they’ve elected to go with a vertical lift.
Unfortunately, the HOA is telling them it violates the CCRs and they won’t
allow it.

 

They’re looking for an attorney to help them out pro bono.  Sounds like
something that may violate ADA/WLAD/Fair Housing Act.  This outside of my
area so is there anyone willing to chat with them?

 

Property is in King County.
