Hi Jodi:

 

If you are trying to access the archives or administrative page those are
not yet available.  Also, we can’t re-enable the digest settings until the
archives are re-activated.  This is because the digest draws the messages
from the archives.

 

The ISP is working to get all of the lists they manage running again, and
as soon as that is done they will convert the lists’ archives so that they
are again available to subscribers.

 

Sorry about the inconvenience.  Hopefully it won’t be too long before they
are available again.

Thanks for getting back to me Doug.  Unfortunately, I still cannot access
the listserve itself.  I can get to the website, but when I click on the
list, the message that comes up is that the page is not available.  I've
done my troubleshooting and my computer is not able to locate the problem.
Is there something else I should do, like unsubscribe and resubscribe?

The list is back online, but it is now operating on a different software
system.  It looks like the digest option has not yet been fully
implemented.  This is new to us so it will take a little time for us to
get our hands around it, but hopefully we can get it functional tomorrow.

Hi Doug,

 

I appreciate the heads up regarding the down listserve.  Today, however,
I've started getting individual email posts from section members.  I tried
to go to the list to double check and make sure I was still only getting
digests, but apparently it is still down.  Can you help or let me know
what's going on?

Hi all:

 

You may have noticed that the listserv is down.  The physical server
crashed on December 23 and our ISP host has had to install new hardware
and configure new software.  The latest word is that we will be converting
from a traditional listserv to iMail.  We have been told that no data was
lost and we should be able to retrieve all of our archived messages.  We
are hopeful that we will have more details in the next 24 hours or so.

 

We regret the inconvenience and will do all we can to get the list up and
running again as soon as possible.  Once we have more information on what
might be necessary on your end, as users, we will let you know.
