Subject: [WSBARP] Spokane area estate litigation attorney referral

 

Hello all.  I am looking for a referral to a probate / estate litigation
attorney in the Spokane area.  The potential client lives in Stevens
County (north of Deer Park) and he was in a meretricious relationship (15+
years) with a now deceased girlfriend (passed away only a few days ago).
The girlfriend did not have a will and her only surviving relative was a
sister in which she has very little contact – so potentially some sort of
“equitable division” argument here (note: I am definitely not an expert on
this issue – hence the requested referral).  The sister is apparently
attempting to get her hands on personal property of the decedent.
