I think it depends on whether the person owned or leased land within the reservation. If decedent had bank accounts, vehicles, other personal property or non-trust land, then it would be state court for the probate. A tribal court would deal with the property
owned within the reservation. Probably consult a tribal attorney is a good idea.</div>
