But I don’t set it for hearing; I just file it. It's possible to get an order approving the various activities described in the report, but for routine probates I think that is just wasted expense.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Aptos; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">If it is being litigated or otherwise highly contentious and the PR has to do something that is discretionary and potentially significant, I sometimes get an order for instructions from the court – but those are always special interim reports, basically filed as a motion requesting an order of approval, rather than an annual report.</span></span></p>
