<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">I reported last week that I needed to do one for my mother’s Trust and got the “101” code. It meant that there were other entities with a similar name and that I should call
(no answer; too busy), fax or file via paper (a black hole).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">I tried the next day and put “XYZ Trust dated ___________, 20____” so it would differentiate it from other trusts of the same name and I got the EIN with the automatic assistant.
Not sure if that would help in your instance.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
