<div>I haven't dealt with this exact scenario but I have had similar scenarios with financial institutions being challenging in a probate context and other contexts. </div>

<div class="default-style">You may need go to management if you haven't done so already and explain the laws. It seems that customer service representatives or even bankers will give you different answers and aren't even sure of bank policies let alone state laws. </div>

<div class="default-style">Branch managers or managers of specific departments tend to be more aware of what is actually required under law or if they aren't, they will take the feedback to their team and get an answer for you. I have had a branch manager who was a bit more challenging to convince, but if you have the laws ready, and show it to them, my experience has been they will listen. </div>

Has anyone had success persuading BECU that none of that is required under WA law for the house to transfer under the CPA? </span></p>
