<p class="MsoNormal">I did some brief research on “share and share alike” recently. I found some authority indicating that it means equal shares to surviving members of the class/group. In my case the issue was whether the “share and share alike” language
prevented application of the anti-lapse statute. The parties in my case signed a TEDRA agreement confirming application of the anti-lapse statute, so we did not need to research further. I don’t believe we found any Washington authority.<o:p></o:p></p>
