</span><span style="font-size:14.0pt">the CIR is making claims under </span><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ch 26.60 RCW, RCW 26.60.080 and in general, that domestic partners are treated the same as married spouses. RCW 26.60.015. I have briefed the caselaw
and have it handy as well – I usually send a letter to the PR/Admin putting them on notice but have not filed anything “official” as notice in the pleadings to the court. Would love to hear how others handle this situation when the estate is pending, inventory
is not completed and there is a lot going on in the probate estate with minor children and assets/debts.</span><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
