used as evidence in the small claims. He won in Small Claims and we proceeded to settle in Superior Court. Client got $10k from guy that sued him in Small Claims. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Take a look at RCW 12.40 for all of the procedural rules. In a nutshell, you have to get consent from the court to have attorneys appear in small claims court. You can’t just
remove the case to district/superior court. They can make you have two tracks – small claims and then district/superior.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">I have a PNC who might be facing a small-claims court action. My understanding has always been that both parties have to agree to not have attorneys for it to be in Small Claims, and that if one side wants representation
they have a right to it and the dispute has to be heard in district or superior court.<o:p></o:p></p>
