<p class="MsoNormal">I need to clear a decedent’s name off title to real property in favor of his surviving spouse. There is a community property agreement, which was recorded in 1975. I was under the impression that I only needed to record the certified
copy of the death certificate and a REETA to transfer the property into the wife’s name…. But when I go to record the DC via Simplifile, there’s no place for uploading a REETA. It feels incomplete to record the DC and reference the abbreviated legal and
TPN on the cover sheet without a separate document explaining the transfer and the WAC citation for the exemption. HELP! What am I doing wrong?<o:p></o:p></p>
