<p class="MsoNormal">You are correct – that is one of the main drawbacks with using them.  I think they are most appropriate when it is a single child beneficiary as a probate avoidance tool.

<p class="MsoNormal">Plus, there was that concerning string earlier this year on this Listserv about the homeowner’s insurance lawsuit when the place burned down and it wasn’t covered because of a policy exclusion for continuing coverage after death.
