PC’s mom got kicked out by her husband’s children and is living with PC. House has been sold and PC’s husband is living with his kids. Both husband and wife have limited capacity and can’t live on their own. They have had a very rocky marriage, and both sets of kids seem to agree they should be divorced. Wife will likely need to apply for Medicaid within 6 months, which I’m assisting with. This is a funky situation, and I told PC she at least needs to have a basic consultation with a family law attorney about options. Anyone interested?
