<p class="MsoNormal">Deceased had stock with Apple, but PR unable to locate stock certificate. An affidavit of lost stock certificate, along with a signed Certified copy of the Letters, sent to Computershare, the transfer agent.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Computershare refuses to process the affidavit, stating that they require an “original court-certified Letter of Appointment”. Their reason?Computershare states that the document says “certified copy”, which, of course, it does. We have
been unable to convince them that the certified copy, signed by the Clerk, is an original. Has anyone run into this before?
