<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">PC is quadriplegic and receiving DSHS assistance in his home. The home is owned by family who live nearby and are able to assist him, but he is able to be alone for several hours
at a tim. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">DSHS has notified him it will terminate his in-home assistance unless he moves into a group home. Presumably it is less expensive to provide the assistance in a group home setting.
But the PC’s independent living is very important to his mental well-being. To whom could I refer him?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
