<p class="MsoNormal">Not really the heart of the question you were asking: I just litigated this issue re: Ancestry DNA matches and familial matches (since Decedent is gone and no other kids). My client (PR and niece of the decedent) was linked to this person
as a familial DNA match on Ancestry. In my case we petitioned the court for an Order requiring a blood test at an approved lab and ultimately, they weren’t able to prove parentage to the court’s satisfaction. It’s a big if whether they can prove parentage
to the court’s satisfaction <o:p></o:p></p>

requiring the claimant to get a blood test and go from there. If claimant is a biological child, then sadly, it is my understanding from 20 years ago research that claimant shares in the estate.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
