Agreed. I would delete the voice mail and not respond. A phone call is notice of nothing at all, at least anything that could legally bind you or trigger some deadline. </div>

Unless you receive written communication (not via email), it is almost certainly not the SSA or IRS or any other revenue collecting<span id="ms-outlook-ios-cursor"></span> branch of the federal government. I would simply delete the voice mail. </div>
