<p class="MsoNormal">I think this is a Judge Shaffer-specific issue. Since e-submissions began I’ve never had a probate bounce on this issue, until last week, by Judge Shaffer. In lieu of a death certificate I filed my own Declaration stating:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in">I have reviewed a certified copy of the death certificate of [Decedent] and hereby confirm that [s/he] died intestate on [date], in [county] County, Washington. For reasons of privacy, I am not filing a copy of
the decedent’s death certificate with the court.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">That sufficed and Judge Shaffer entered the Order on re-submission.<o:p></o:p></p>

- I don't know - but I wanted to just put myself out there as a warning to others. Upload a death certificate and just unclick the "E-File Me" button to avoid wasting $30. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
