<p class="MsoNormal">Since when do you take advice from a PI attorney, especially one who is suing the decedent for whom you are the court appointed PR? LOL<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As the decedent’s PR, you would be the client of the insurance defense counsel. If the claim could exceed policy limits, you would very much be involved in figuring out additional defense.

<p class="MsoNormal">Unless the order limits your appointment in scope, you are PR for all intents and purposes like any other probate.
