<p class="MsoNormal">Hello All. I’m trying to close an estate, I got a notice that the IRS had not received payment on two 1041’s. I sent cancelled checks showing the receipts. The IRS wrote and said they had credited the accounts, but didn’t have the returns.
I sent them the returns. Now the PR has receive Notices of Intent to levy property because they haven’t received the payments. When the PR and I call the number on the notice we get a message they are too busy, call another day. Anyone have any suggestions?
Only options given on the Notice is to pay or call to review account with a representative. Thank you, Allen
