We are in a serious time crunch, because the county (Pierce) is about to sell the property at a tax sale because of the borrower’s failure to pay the property taxes. The tax sale is tentatively scheduled on 11/17/2020. If Pierce County sells it first, our security interest most likely would be wiped out. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I don’t know how to expedite our own foreclosure process to possibly sell first, and could really use some advice from someone who’s familiar with it. My client is a private individual who’s never foreclosed before, and our firm doesn’t do foreclosures. It might be easier to refer out the sale itself.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I think I now need to request a decree of foreclosure/order of sale to present to the sheriff’s office so they can proceed with what they need to do.
