Contractor caused damage to the property and didn’t complete the job. PC obtained a bid for repairs and completion. PC says that damages are around $30k. Property is in Seattle. Contractor engaged counsel who appeared through this online forum. Counsel for the contractor then served a Claim of Lien and in response to the complaint/arbitration demand on the platform asserts that the Claim of Lien is not subject to the arbitration. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Arbitration is scheduled for October 14<sup>th</sup> and I am unavailable that day.
