Because the xxx broker knew me he assumed the money should be invested in stocks, but that was not my daughter's desire since she wanted cash when they found a house. When she discovered that her saving account had gone down in value she asked how this could happen since she had never even talked to the broker, received a statement or notice of the purchases. When I confronted the broker that I have known for more than 30 years he admitted to me that he had never talked to my daughter but just assumed she wanted the money invested. <o:p></o:p></span></div> </div> <div> <div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:12pt;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">She has now received a letter giving her until May 15th to agree to receive a settlement of half of the $20,000 lost or the offer will expire.
