<p class="MsoNormal">I'm reluctant as well but sometimes it's all I can do with a PR who won't cooperate, has fired me, or has stopped responding to communications or has simply disappeared. My position is that I give notice to my client, the PR, and then just
file it in the probate matter. Unless I have an ongoing issue with someone in the probate, I don't serve it anywhere else.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If DOD was within 24 months and I'm still listed in published notices to receive claims, I usually just reconcile myself to possibly having to do a little bit more work without pay if a claim comes in. So far I haven't had to deal with
such a claim (knock on wood).<o:p></o:p></p>
