<p class="MsoNormal">I’m struggling with the Distressed Property Conveyance Statute (RCW 61.34).  In particular, in subsections RCW 61.34.080 and RCW 61.34.090 the statute uses the terms “distressed home reconveyance”.  Those terms are not defined in the definition

 section; rather the terms “distressed home conveyance” are defined.  I therefore assumed this was referring to a different conveyance; possibly the one from the original purchaser back to the original seller?  But when you look at the Notice of Cancellation

 set forth in RCW 61.34.111 which is required to be placed in the contract for a “distressed home reconveyance” the language says “You may cancel this contract for the sale of your house without any penalty or obligation at any time before ______________”. 

 So clearly this is talking about the original contract to sell.  Has anyone looked at this issue and figured out what the terms “distressed home reconveyance” mean?</p>
