We have an upcoming mediation in a messy, complex probate
case. We have agreed to make it a global mediation to attempt to settle
interheir disputes and finish distribution to heirs after paying contested
reimbursement to estate of first, now deceased, PR/heir, and to pay fees and
costs to my firm for me serving as PR for several years. Property was
taken by Sound Transit in eminent domain, so only cash to be distributed,
although other heirs will claim that deceased first PR took lots of valuable
personal property. Lots of legal and factual issues to sort out.
Stan Foster and Jim Sorenson are other involved lawyers. Recommendations
so far are Kathleen Learned, Stew Cogan, Eric Watness.
