That’s more of a land use law issue.</div><div><br></div><div>I had a client have this happen once. Family attorneys created tenancy in common. Plan was sell and client would buy a condo in town. Ex never cooperated. Client gave up and stayed in the house until she died. We forced a sale through partition for her estate. Interesting question is cram down of percentage of ex-spouse TIC who doesn’t contribute to the mortgage. So, sarcastically, the easy way is to stay until you die. </div><div><br></div><div>John J.
