<p class="MsoNormal">In transferring title to an intestate heir of Decedent, a Superior Court Judgment has shown up. The creditor claim period has of course run, the probate is about to be closed, and the heir, who is also the Personal Representative is questioning
the judgment.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The judgment arose from an assault conviction against the decedent for domestic violence against mom and other family members, including my client. My client is the sole surviving family member, and sole intestate heir of his father and
brother, the titled owners of the property. He was also a victim of the domestic violence. He is appalled that he should be victimized again by having to pay for this. It is only a little over $1,000.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Any loopholes I don’t know about, or is my advice, “this sucks, but the cheapest and most efficient way for you to receive clear (and insured) title to this property is to pay off this judgment,” really the only option.<o:p></o:p></p>
