Tragically, my client’s son died while on a mission in Africa. The travel insurance paid to return the young man’s remains to the USA, but has declined to pay a death benefit. The policy does not clearly cover this situation, nor is it clearly excluded. The policy is very vague and does not provide the definition of an accident or natural causes of death.
