<div dir="ltr">I have found that most people open the box at their primary bank and the branch they opened the account in the first place. <div><br></div><div>I am not aware of any way to tell what bank the key is from, however, I have seen enough of them that usually I can guess the bank (not always). Can you send a picture of the key or describe the tag? Is it round or square? </div><div><br></div><div>Was there an attorney involved in preparing wills etc? Often clients tell their attorneys where their safety deposit box is. </div><div><br></div><div>She should look through the bank statements, it's usually a one time annual charge for the box.
