I hope that there might be more advice here.<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Client was appointed administrator of sister's estate. Due to questions of solvency, client did not receive non-intervention powers. Client wanted to see about cleaning up the estate and determining solvency. Client has now used letters of administration to contact banks, employers, etc. Although a small payment is to be received from deceased’s employment as realtor, client has determined that the estate is not solvent. <div class=""><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Client has not published notice to creditors. Client does not want to spend more time and money administering the estate. Can she now resign (dismiss the probate) and let the creditors fend for themselves? If so, before she resigns, can she seek payment (from the real estate commission) for her time and the money that she spent in administration?
