If the residential lease states that the security deposit is to be used for, among other things, unpaid rent and the tenant has moved out without paying last month’s rent, does the landlord still need to have the checklist/statement re condition of property described in RCW 58.19.260?<br>

It seems unrelated if damage to property is not the reason for keeping the deposit.<br>
