    <font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Several years back (but
      after the recordings fees had skyrocketed) I represented a PR who
      begrudgingly fulfilled a devise of a vacation property in another
      county. So my PR signed a deed and a REET affidavit and sent them
      with a certfied mail letter explaining to the devisee that he
      should record the same with the auditor of that county.<br>
      <br>
      I'm not aware of any law that requires a PR to do anything more
      than deliver a deed, and a REET signed by the PR.<br>

            have an estate in which the decedent’s left his primary
            residence to his daughter.  She has been difficult to work
            with (she is not the PR) and uncooperative, though she moved
            in right away.  We are ready to transfer title to her, but I
            don’t think she’ll agree to sign the REETA as grantee.  Does
            anyone have any suggestions?
