problem. If he created any kind of trust, his will can be “reformed”
judicially with notice of the hearing to DSHS. If grandfather did neither,
it could be a problem. You need to check if client is on SSI or
SSDI. One is asset – resource based one is not.</DIV>

Monday to everyone. I have a client that has a son on SSI and is set to
inherit from a deceased grandfather about $15K cash together with mineral rights
in ND that are paying regularly. Client wants a special needs trust
established in local probate. What are the procedures? Does DSHS
need to be notified? Is DSHS cooperative?<BR><BR>Thank you all in advance
