BECU might also be willing to accept a smaller trust, but I don’t know their position on a co-trustee arrangement or their fees.

To add to this - I do think their minimum is 1M and up but if you drop a name of who passed their name onto you, they may take one in the $900,000.00 if they do have a limit.

If anyone has a name for this, please share. 

A few years back, I attempted a similar thing and every professional fiduciary I know (who are all wonderful and spectacular in their own right) refused to serve as a co-trustee with a non-professional. The fear of liability made it such that they wanted either total control or none at all. 

If this has changed - please do share with the group.
