[WSBAPT] Foreclosure in probate in NY

Good morning,

Looking for a NY attorney who can advise the surviving spouse on a foreclosure matter. Decedent was the cosigner on a mortgage for her son to buy a property in NY, along with son's wife. Wife passed in October 2025. All other assets are in WA and were jointly titled with surviving spouse, so probate is not otherwise needed. Son's house is now in foreclosure, and the surviving spouse is concerned that he's at risk. Property is in Staton Island.
