[WSBAPT] Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, decedent was shareholder

Hi All,

Decedent was a shareholder in a company now filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The company is requesting a W-9 from shareholders to be able to report losses on shareholder’s respective tax returns.

Bankruptcy/probate issue cross-over issues are new to me.  Curious if attorneys who have navigated these waters can alert me to pitfalls I should be looking out for.
