[WSBAPT] Off-Topic - Participating in WSBA Elections

Greetings List Members -

This morning you should have received an email from the WSBA with the
subject "Vote Now in WSBA Governor At Large Election" - as we carry forward
the momentum of Law Day from May 1st, I will personally issue a request
that participating in elections is essential to our democracy. This
includes organizations such as the WSBA.

The At-Large position is responsible for being the voice of all 44,000+
members and normally our elections bring in under 5,000 votes.

Voting is simple - your email will have an election code and a PIN, then
you make a selection and then confirm it by hitting the "VOTE" button on
the second page.

Voting matters - at every opportunity.  This is not an endorsement of any
candidate - but an endorsement of our system of governance.

I do have my own opinion regarding candidates and I am open to
individual conversations to talk about those should you wish to do so. As a
Former Governor, and now as the liaison from the RPPT to the BOG, I have
insights into what I believe makes a good candidate.
