Hi, List-Serv AI ("Actual Intelligence") :
I'm working on developing some standard Power of Attorney docs for folks who have to worry about being deported. Would like to fortify them by having a solid mechanism within the language of the POA to establish that the event triggering the agent's authority has taken place, so that third parties are more likely to rely on the authority granted by the POA when the agent needs to act. One idea that seems promising is to use official government documentation from a deportation process to establish that the agent's authority has commenced. I'm speculating that there is something like an "order of deportation". But, I am unfamiliar with what paperwork is generated when a deportation takes place, or if the documentation is readily available.
Would appreciate if any immigration attorneys have some info or suggestions on that question for some way to efficiently document "Government says X person has been deported". Or any suggestions of who I might call to inquire about the question.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
