I don't have a specific referral, but I always recommend checking out the NAELA Directory for elder law / guardianship attorneys. Someone with a CELA designation could definitely help with Medicaid planning.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Need referral for New Jersey Guardianship Attorney

A client's brother-in-law who resided in New Jersey suffered a heart attack and is now in a vegetative state.   The couple has a five-year-old daughter.  Unfortunately, most of the financial accounts are in the husband's name and the wife would like to consult a guardianship attorney.   Any referral is much appreciated.
