[WSBAPT] Referral Needed: Oregon Medicaid Attorney

Hello all,

I am seeking a referral for an Oregon-licensed attorney. The PC (a WA resident) was appointed as agent by her estranged father and just found out. He now suffers from dementia, is in a nursing home, and there are not enough liquid assets to cover the monthly costs of care. The father does own a home debt-free (but is unlikely to be able to return to it), gets monthly social security, and has a few life insurance policies. The nursing home bill is due in a few days, so there’s some urgency to this. PC wants to discuss options for qualifying her father for Medicaid, as well as having somebody else appointed to act as his agent or conservator.
