[WSBAPT] Residential Real Property Appraiser

Colleagues:

I am working on an estate in which Decedent's home was completely destroyed by fire.  The Beneficiaries (surviving children) just received a payoff proposal from the homeowner's insurance company.

I am definitely not an expert in determining the cost of rebuilding a home, but the proposal from the insurance company seems low.

I am hoping that someone out there has worked with an appraiser who has dealt with this situation.  There is money available to pay for a review of the proposal, an additional appraisal if necessary, and negotiating with the insurance company's adjuster, if needed.  The property is located in Skagit County.
