[WSBAPT] Mediation Under TEDRA

Good morning,

Question for the listserv: A TEDRA Petition was filed, commissioner ordered mediation. There is no judge assigned to the case. Mediation was scheduled for this month, but the parties have agreed to continue it. There is no assigned judge in the matter to my knowledge.

Is it required to get a judge to sign a stipulation and agreed order continuing the mediation date? There is no case schedule, but the order to go to mediation states it should happen within 90 days of the order.

I submitted the stipulation and agreed order Ex Parte via the Clerk and it was returned with the following message:

Your Ex Parte via the Clerk (EPVC) submission is being returned for the following reason:
The proposed order(s) submitted are not eligible for Ex Parte via the Clerk submission. They should be submitted to your assigned judge. Please refer to the Superior Court Local Rules for information on filing your motion and noting a hearing.
