I just did this recently. My POC at the AG’s office was Lynda Atkins (Lynda.atkins at atg.wa.gov<mailto:Lynda.atkins at atg.wa.gov>). Here is how I submitted my TEDRA Agreements for review and approval.

Dear Lynda:
As you and I discussed yesterday, attached please find two TEDRA Agreements for your review and signature. These TEDRA Agreements were created for the purpose of _____. The purpose of the signature by the AG's office is to simply acknowledge that the agreements were entered into.
If these appear to be in satisfactory order, please sign where indicated and return the signed copies to me at the address below. And, if you have any questions or comments about these, please feel free to reach out to me.
Thank you.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Changing Charitable Bequest

Hello,

I have a case where the charitable bequest needs to be changed because the gift, as written, is no longer permissible. I understand that the AG's Office stands in the place of the former theoretical beneficiaries in any court hearing to approve a TEDRA.

How does one notify the AG's Office? Has anyone done changed a charitable gift and got through a notification process? Willing to share your process?

Thank you.
