Listmates,
Clients established a revocable living trust and deeded their residence to the trust in 2019. However, the legal description in the deed did not include a small piece of property that clients acquired via a 2016 boundary line adjustment. The recorded Boundary Line adjustment states that the piece of property that was acquired via the boundary line adjustment is "To be combined with" the parcel on which sits clients' residence. Does another deed need to be prepared to transfer the property acquired via boundary line adjustment to the trust? Or is it sufficient that the recorded Boundary Line adjustment stated that the acquired property was to be combined with the parcel that deeded to the trust?
