[WSBAPT] Referral for Medicare appeal

Hello colleagues:

I am looking for a referral to someone who handles Medicare appeals. 

 

A couple needs help appealing a Medicare decision in which they are being penalized for failure to sign up for Medicare Part B. The Wife signed up for Part A, but not Part B at age 65, with the understanding that they would not be subject to a late enrollment penalty because they had insurance coverage through husband’s retirement package. She was advised by a SHIBA  counselor that this was permissible.   Several years later there was an unexpected change in the retirement insurance coverage, and I am not clear on what happened next, except that Medicare is now seeking a very large late enrollment penalty. I do not have more details, but does anyone assist with advice and Medicare appeals?
