[WSBAPT] Estate EIN

Did he try to get two in one day by chance, such as if he needs one for each of a California trust and a Washington probate? Each responsible person can only obtain one a day.

Otherwise, no idea.

I am doing a probate for a decedent who has a Trust in California.

Today the PR tried to get an EIN for the estate and kept getting a message from the IRS website that said “Access Denied” when he selected “estate."

Does anyone know if the system is down?
